Aqua Class
The Aqua Class have been very busy this term. They have really enjoyed their Friday baking sessions – most recently they made lovely scones.
The children have been doing lots of fun art based on the theme Easter. They have made bunny and chick masks, cards for their families and baskets to collect Easter eggs. They also have been doing lots of work revising their tricky words and focusing on “sh”, “ch” and “th” in their phonics.

WNS Inclusion Committee
In Walterstown NS we have a fantastic Inclusion Committee who have been busy teaching the boys and girls Stand By Me using Lámh. Yesterday the whole school came together in the hall to perform and record Stand By Me. We look forward to learning many more songs using Lámh in the future!
Purple Room
The children have been sequencing the story “The Teddy Bear’s Picnic” ahead of their own picnic for their upcoming school tour.
They have been learning various literacy and numeracy concepts.
They have also been keeping up with their gardening and enjoying outdoor activities with their nature walks and P.E.
